This report, our 10th, covers the reporting period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, unless otherwise noted with specific data. The report’s scope covers all Equinix global operations and offices, unless otherwise specified. Changes in boundaries are disclosed when necessary. Questions, comments and concerns can be sent to sustainability@equinix.com.
Equinix continues to evolve its reporting to meet the requirements of leading industry frameworks and our stakeholders’ expectations. Since 2015, we have reported with reference to the GRI Standards. Starting in 2019, we began including sustainability information in our corporate Annual Report to show how Equinix is creating value for all stakeholders. Equinix includes environmental disclosures through the SASB index1 in our 10-K. Human capital disclosures are also included in our 10-K reporting.
Equinix takes part in industry dialogue around nonfinancial reporting. We are a founding member of the U.S. Chapter of the Prince of Wales’s Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) Project CFO Leadership Network. To build resilient business models, A4S aims to inspire the rapid integration of social and environmental considerations, such as climate change, into business strategy and operations. As part of this initiative, Equinix supports the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD),2 where we continue to assess, manage and measure our climate-related risks and opportunities.

Transparency is a hallmark of our Future First strategy. We provide updates on our sustainability progress and performance through our annual Sustainability Report Highlights and on our sustainability report website.
We calculate our greenhouse gas footprint in reference to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions; energy consumption; renewable energy consumption and water consumption, withdrawal and discharge are independently assured to ISO 14064-3:2019 standards for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and water.

1 Equinix continues to monitor changes in the reporting landscape to inform future reporting.
2 SASB and TCFD are now part of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
